Hi, I am Anna-Katrine (A-K for short) Five years ago, I moved from London to Copenhagen with an idea in mind. I wanted to teach people how to make their own jewellery. After studying Jewellery Design in Copenhagen and training as a goldsmith with Jeweller Malene Glintborg, I embarked on the business concept that was brewing in my mind. Today, Melt Studio is the manifestation of that idea. Melt Studio, provides intimate jewellery making experiences. During my 2 hour cosy workshops, I personally guide you to sculpt and melt a piece jewellery from wax, which can then be cast in silver or gold after the event, giving you your own personal ring or necklace made by you. The courses are held in different locations across Copenhagen. Such as a Chocolate shop, natural wine company and cocktail bar. You can also book private parties and one to one experiences, where I come to you. This is ideal for making your own wedding rings, bachelorette parties, summerhouse trips or corporate events. My creative life began at Central Saint Martins School of art, where I learned the fundamental principles of art and design from some of the finest teachers in the world. Over the next 10 years I worked as an Art Director in leading advertising agency BBH, creating award winning campaigns for brands such as The Guardian & Observer, Audi and British Airways. During this period, I soaked up learnings from the best creative minds and teachers. My aim is to pass-on some of the creative magic I have learned, to those taking part in my Jewellery making classes. I look forward to seeing you soon.
