I am a designer who loves to paint. I am currently based in Amager, Copenhagen. I resonate with the term 'multi-passionate' creative because I like exploring different mediums of art as well as different subjects depending on what's intriguing me and sparking my curiosity at the moment. I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. Art has always been a way for me to express what I found difficult to express in words. Journaling, colouring and art making was my favourite playtime activities even when I was a kid. My favourite mediums of art include mixed media, acrylics and gouache paints. I love how you can layer them up and achieve wonderful results that fulfil ones hunger for creation. I am passionate about the creative process. The way I see it, we are all creative. I don’t believe in solely focusing on the end-result of engaging with the creative process. The magic is actually being in conversation with your creative and intuitive self. It might sound cliche but the process truly is where the magic happens. What truly inspires me is Brene Brown's work on courage, vulnerability, shame and empathy. I am a die hard fan of her research on these subject matters. I started including meditation into my art practice and use intuitive creative expression as a way to release stress, feel my feelings, regulate emotions and to make space for quiet reflection. This visualisation technique and unique practice that I have developed through my own lived experiences have been life-changing for me and I'd love to share with others as well.
