My name is Nadina Laura Skudrina, I am an artist originally from Latvia, currently living in Frederiksberg, Denmark. I grew up in a culture where nature is nurtured, celebrated and held very close to the heart - the forest, the grass and the snow was my playground. Starting by tracing and coloring fallen maple leaves I brought home from school in second grade, I wanted to capture that beauty and intricate detail. It is a passion I have held onto and developed ever since. In my art I strip away from the distractions of the world to find beauty in a life that’s bigger than us. My personal style highlights the easily overseen beauty found in nature. Throughout the years I have fallen in love with watercolour, that captures and accentuates a romantic and hopeful feeling. A medium that can have a mind of its own, where I learned to literally go with the flow.
