Important 2024 Update: Gaia Armyrantis Trampedach or Sarah Sharf to Lead Upcoming Experiences
Lars Christian Kræmmer, the artist who normally hosts this figure drawing experience, is currently traveling abroad and will not be available. In his absence, ARTXP’s highly rated creative host, Gaia Armyrantis Trampedach, will be taking over this experience. Sarah and Gaia are skilled members of our creative hosts community in Copenhagen and are known for their exceptional skills and engaging workshops. While there will be some adjustments to the flow and teaching style (as mentioned in the experience description below), we are confident that Sarah and Gaia will deliver a memorable and high-quality experience for you.
Experience Description:
In this Croquis & Cava experience, hosted by visual artist Lars Christian Kræmmer, you will learn how to draw the shape and movement of the beautiful human figure all while enjoying a glass of sparkling cava and the company of old and new friends.
We will focus on classical methods and aim to teach you new drawing skills or help you improve existing skills. Lars will also share some more experimental drawing approaches and techniques, and stories told from a long life of art and adventure!
You need no previous experience to participate, but if you do have some, Lars will try to help you get even better.
After many years of art school and art practice, Lars has developed his own style and idea of drawing and he is excited to share these with you.

What is Figure Drawing/ Croquis?
Figure drawing is the art of sketching the human figure, often done live with a nude model who is standing or sitting in a pose that emphasises the figure. Figure drawings or croquis drawings are usually made in a few minutes, after which the model changes pose and another croquis is drawn. The word croquis comes from French and means simply "sketch".
The human figure is one of the most enduring themes in the visual arts, and the human figure can be the basis of portraiture, illustration, sculpture, medical illustration, and other fields.
In this creative experience, taught by Lars, you are invited to explore the world of figure drawing in a relaxed social setting.
